Radio station manager still in prison after one month as government gets tough with media
Mam Sonando, the manager of the independent radio station Sombok Khmum, has been in prison since 11 October and faces a one-year sentence for interviewing a critic of Prime Minister Hun Sen. Two international radio correspondents have also fled the country for fear of being arrested. This harassment of the press is unacceptable, Reporters Without Borders says.
