Editor of independent newspaper on trial for "insulting the President"
Viktor Ivaskevich, editor of the independent newspaper Rabochy, faces a
five-year prison sentence for "insulting the President." Two other
journalists were recently sentenced to hard labour in prison. Reporters
Without Borders calls for the laws allowing such punishment to be
abolished.
